16% das crianças e adolescentes no Brasil dizem que já receberam conteúdo sexual na internet, mostra pesquisa

Edição 2023 do levantamento TIC Kids Online ainda revela que 9% dos usuários de internet de 11 a 17 anos afirmam ter sido abordados por outras pessoas pedindo fotos sem roupa no ambiente virtual. Crianças e adolescentes no Brasil recebem conteúdo sexual na internet
Um estudo revelou que 16% das crianças e adolescentes brasileiras de 11 a 17 anos disseram já ter recebido mensagens com conteúdo sexual na internet. A informação foi divulgada nesta quarta-feira (25) na pesquisa TIC Kids Online Brasil 2023.
O levantamento foi realizado pelo Centro Regional de Estudos para o Desenvolvimento da Sociedade da Informação (Cetic.br), que, desde 2012, faz uma análise sobre o uso de internet no país todo ano.

O Cetic.br entrevistou presencialmente 2.704 crianças e adolescentes, ao lado de seus pais ou responsáveis, entre março e julho de 2023.
Ainda sobre o tema envolvendo conteúdo sexual na internet, a pesquisa apontou que:
o percentual de pessoas que disseram ter recebido conteúdo sexual on-line foi maior entre adolescentes de 15 a 17 anos (27%), que são os usuários mais assíduos de internet, de acordo com Luísa Adib, coordenadora do estudo;
9% das crianças e adolescentes de 11 a 17 anos afirmaram que outras pessoas já pediram na internet uma foto ou vídeo em que elas aparecessem sem roupa;
5% disseram que outras pessoas já pediram para elas falarem sobre sexo no ambiente on-line;
9% dos usuários de 9 a 17 anos alegaram que viram fotos ou vídeos de conteúdo sexual na internet nos últimos 12 meses;
sobre o meio em que viram essas imagens, 26% alegaram que foi nas redes sociais; 9% em sites de vídeos; e 5% em sites de jogos.
“Cabe destacar que o contato com esses posts não representa, necessariamente, resultados problemáticos. A TIC Kids aponta que 37% dos usuários de 11 a 17 anos dizem ter visto informações sobre sexualidade, como saúde sexual ou educação sexual on-line”, explica Luísa Adib.
Para o gerente do Cetic.br, Alexandre Barbosa, o relatório mostra uma tendência crescente de uso da internet já na primeira infância e ressalta que esse levantamento pode orientar políticas e ações voltadas na garantia dos direitos e proteção do público infantil.
Como elas usam as redes sociais
Pela primeira vez, o Cetic.br incluiu o YouTube ao perguntar as plataformas digitais mais usadas. O TIC Kids Online Brasil revelou que o acesso ao YouTube predomina entre aqueles com 9 a 12 anos de idade.
Mas o Instagram ainda é a principal rede social usada por crianças e adolescentes, como mostra o gráfico abaixo.

Na edição 2022 da pesquisa, o TikTok era apontado como a principal mídia social utilizada por crianças e adolescentes no país. O Instagram e o Facebook apareciam logo em seguida, respetivamente.
Neste ano, a TIC Kids também mostrou que 88% das crianças e adolescentes com internet no Brasil afirmaram ter perfil nas redes sociais (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X – ex-Twitter, WhatsApp e Snapchat).
Sobre as atividades realizadas nessas plataformas, 35% disseram ter feito postagem com texto, foto ou vídeo de autoria própria, enquanto 44% compartilharam posts de outros perfis.
No recorte de engajamento, o levantamento identificou que 35% usaram as redes para conversar com pessoas de outras cidades, países e cultura e 28% entraram em grupos ou fóruns para acompanhar assuntos que gostam.
