O filme que vai contar a história do sequestro sofrido por Silvio Santos em 2001 vai virar filme. Quem vai interpretar o dono do SBT é Rodrigo Faro. O apresentador publicou nas redes sociais o teaser da produção.
“Baseado em fatos reais, o empresário Silvio Santos conta sua trajetória na tentativa de fazer as pazes com o passado e garantir sua sobrevivência no presente, quando é feito de refém pelo mesmo homem que sequestrou uma de suas filhas”, diz a legenda. A estreia nos cinemas está prevista para 5 de setembro.
No trecho, Faro aparece fazendo café e caracterizado como o empresário. Em agosto de 2001, Santos e a família passaram sete horas como reféns dois dias após Patrícia Abravanel ser liberada pelo mesmo sequestrador após sete dias em cativeiro.
As gravações duraram 40 dias e acabaram em agosto de 2022. Em entrevista à Folha no mesmo ano, Faro afirmou que viver o comunicador foi o papel de sua vida.
“As pessoas que marcam a nossa vida, que marcam a história do Brasil como o Silvio marca, elas têm de ser homenageadas em vida. A gente não pode esperar essa pessoa ir embora para homenageá-la. E como ele vai ver esse filme, eu não queria fazer algo que o desagradasse nem queria que ele não gostasse que eu fizesse.”
