Sobre a nova temporada
Na trama de True Detective: Night Country, seis homens que operam uma estação de pesquisa no Alasca desaparecem sem deixar vestígios após uma longa noite de inverno.
As detetives Liz Danvers (Foster) e Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) são chamadas para investigar o caso, ao mesmo tempo em que lidam com os lados sombrios de si mesmas, bem ao estilo de True Detective.
Além de estrelar, Jodie Foster também será uma das produtoras da quarta temporada.
John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, Isabella Star Lablanc e Joel D. Montgrand completam o elenco.
A cineasta Issa López, de Moonlight, vai assumir a produção executiva e servirá como showrunner ao lado de Barry Jenkins. Além dias, as duas dirigem todos os episódios da temporada.
