O Facebook foi condenado a indenizar brasileiros em R$ 500 por vazar dados pessoais vazados em 2021. A sentença foi emitida na quinta-feira (23) pela Vara de Interesses Difusos e Coletivos de São Luís, como danos morais.

Como se proteger?
1) Fique atento com os aplicativos, wi-fi, sites e outros lugares que ao você entrar pendem confirmação com a sua conta do Facebook. Veja baixo como tirar a ligação da sua rede social com esses serviços:
Acesse as “Configurações e ferramentas de privacidade” neste link;
Na lista da esquerda, clique em “Aplicativos e sites”;
Selecione o aplicativo que quiser e clique em “Remover”

2) Tire do histórico a sua localização
O Facebook armazena o histórico dos serviços de localização do dispositivo. Essas informações são utilizadas para melhorar a publicação de conteúdo baseado na geolocalização, ofertas, check-ins e no recurso “Amigos nas Imediações”.
Dessa forma o Facebook não adicionará novas informações ao seu histórico, mesmo este tenha sido ativado por você. Para remover o histórico, siga os seguintes passos:
Abra este link;
Clique sobre o ícone em formato de 3 pontos, no canto superior direito, e selecione a opção de exclusão. É possível apagar o histórico do dia ou todo o histórico armazenado.
3) Reconhecimento facial
O reconhecimento facial no Facebook simplifica as marcações em fotos e funciona como mecanismo de segurança para monitorar o uso de imagens por outras pessoas:
Quando essa opção estiver habilitada, sempre que alguém publicar uma foto em que você aparecer será exibida uma notificação indicando onde ela foi publicada. Em caso de uso não autorizado, basta denunciar e solicitar a remoção.
4) Privado
As publicações que são fechadas apenas para um gripo de amigos podem ser compartilhadas com apenas um print e se tornar público, furando a sua privacidade. Por isso, fique atento e confira os conteúdos antes de publicar: porque, na prática, não há garantia de que ele será visto apenas pelos seus amigos.
