A Meta apresentou nesta quarta-feira (27) uma nova geração de óculos inteligentes em parceria com a Ray-Ban que podem fazer transmissão para o Instagram e o Facebook do que o usuário está vendo.
Até então, os óculos inteligentes só conseguiam postar fotos nas redes.
A novidade começa a ser vendida no próximo dia 17 de outubro, nos Estados Unidos, por US$ 299 (o equivalente a cerca de R$ 1.500), anunciou Mark Zuckerberg.

Na conferência anual da Meta, nos Estados Unidos, o presidente-executivo também apresentou o “ChatGPT” da companhia, batizado de Meta AI (de “artificial intelligence”), que, segundo ele, pode gerar imagens foto-realistas, além de respostas de texto.
“Não se trata apenas de responder perguntas”, disse Zuckerberg. “Trata-se de entretenimento e de ajudá-lo a fazer coisas para se conectar com as pessoas ao seu redor.”
Zuckerberg exibiu fotos que o gerador de imagens fez retratando um dinossauro como animal de estimação, e mudando o estilo do pelo de seu cachorro Beast. 
O Meta AI usando um modelo de linguagem personalizado baseado no Llama 2, que a empresa lançou em julho. E terá acesso a informações em tempo real por meio de uma parceria com o mecanismo de busca Bing da Microsoft, disse Zuckerberg.
Os anúncios foram feitos no Meta Connect, o maior evento do ano da empresa de redes sociais, a conferência primeira presencial desde o início da pandemia.

Robôs de famosos (e o seu próprio)
A empresa também está construindo uma plataforma que desenvolvedores e pessoas comuns podem usar para criar seus próprios “robôs conversadores”, que terão perfis no Instagram e no Facebook e eventualmente aparecerão como avatares no metaverso, afirmou ele.
Para demonstrar as capacidades da ferramenta, a Meta criou um conjunto de 28 chatbots com personalidades diferentes, estilizados com vozes de celebridades como Snoop Dogg e Tom Brady, de acordo com uma postagem no blog da empresa.
Quest terá jogos do Xbox
Zuckerberg disse ainda que os jogos em nuvem do Xbox chegarão aos óculos de realidade mista Quest 3 em dezembro.
A Meta apresentou o headset em junho, na época em que a Apple lançou seu próprio dispositivo, o Vision Pro, que custa US$ 3.500 (R$ 17,5 mil).
Por menos que o concorrente — a partir de US$ 500 (R$ 2.500) — o Quest 3 conta com a mesma tecnologia de realidade mista que estreou no dispositivo Quest Pro, o mais caro da Meta, lançado no ano passado, que mostra aos usuários um feed de vídeo do mundo real ao seu redor.
