Steve Wozniak, cofundador da Apple, deixou nesta quinta-feira (9) o hospital em que estava internado na Cidade do México após sofrer um acidente vascular cerebral (AVC), informou o site americano ABC News.
Segundo o veículo, Wozniak disse que passou por uma ressonância magnética depois de sentir tontura e não conseguir andar na quarta-feira (8). O empresário afirmou ao site que o procedimento indicou “um AVC menor, mas real”.
O engenheiro eletrônico, de 73 anos, realizaria uma palestra no México, mas viajou de volta para a sua residência nos Estados Unidos após o incidente.
Wozniak fundou a Apple em 1976 junto de seu parceiro de negócios Steve Jobs, investidor e CEO de longa data da empresa, que morreu em 2011.
A companhia se tornou a mais valiosa do mundo, avaliada em quase US$ 3 trilhões (cerca de R$ 5 trilhões).
