The Foglands traz ação de VR de arremesso de armas este ano

A Sony prometeu que exibiria cinco novos jogos do PS VR2 como parte da transmissão de State of Play desta noite, e o pontapé inicial desta lista não foi outro senão um atirador ocidental armado chamado The Foglands.

Desenvolvido pelo estúdio indie, Well Told Entertainment, como seu passeio de estreia, este jogo verá os jogadores navegando por uma névoa tóxica que envolve a comunidade underground em que vivem. A ideia será se aventurar nessa névoa perigosa na esperança de ganhar recompensas, tudo no emprego de um estranho misterioso.

A sinopse da história (de acordo com o PlayStation Blog) é a seguinte:

“Neste mundo completamente revestido por um Fog tóxico, você faz parte de uma comunidade forçada a viver em um bunker subterrâneo, chamado The Hold. Dentro da comunidade, existem catadores que mantêm a sobrevivência de seu abrigo, chamado Runners. Esses Runners são os poucos que são corajosos o suficiente para sair para os perigos do Fog.

“A história começa quando você joga como um novo Runner em sua primeira missão, que termina em um desastre completo. Depois, você conhece um sujeito peculiar que quer fazer um acordo. Um personagem misterioso apelidado de The Stranger. Ele promete uma série de benefícios, recompensas e tantas chances quanto for necessário para caçar uma grande criatura que está ameaçando diretamente sua casa. Com seus objetivos alinhados, por que não fechar esse acordo?”

Quanto a quando The Foglands vai estrear, tudo o que nos dizem é que o jogo chegará ao PS VR2 algures em 2023. Caso contrário, podemos esperar mais detalhes no final do ano.
